The Bay Residence exists on a lake front property in Tennessee. The previous dwelling occupying the property was torn down and this structure built in its place. There were several spans in this house which required the design of foundation systems, steel columns, beams, and connections. DURIN Engineering was hired to accomplish this analysis and design. The columns and steel beams were required due to the loads being carried over a span and others were required due to extremely low deflection requirements for door systems.
